Good question. I wouldn't include Tui in this discussion. He's out of options, so he's likely in the pen. Mayers is trending up.
Right now? No. If he has more outings like that in games that matter, maybe. I think some folks are overreacting to one blowup. Norris could still wind up being the closer. I can't stress this enough: THE BULLPEN THE CARDINALS BREAK CAMP WITH WILL NOT BE THE BULLPEN IT HAS ALL SEASON. There's going to be churn for fresh arms and hot hands.
All good questions that Carlos and the Cardinals continue to try to answer. If one specific reason had been detected, it would have been solved by now.
Pham is hyper aware of his eyesight. He's on top of it. For good reason. The Cardinals are not going to tell him something about his vision that he doesn't already know. He has his team in place for that.
Breaking: Elite players cost a bunch of money
Nice. Could it be constructed like a trap door? The manager would not even have to come out. Just give a thumbs down from the dugout, and whoooooooosh. Then the new hero zips in, literally.
More reactionary than right
Game's nearing the end here. I'll take a few more quick ones and thank you for coming. Gonna have to head to the clubhouse soon. We'll do it again next week!
I liked Miles Mikolas definition. The other day he told Luke Weaver, while showing him his bat: "I have all the launch angles up in here."
If the Nats win the world series, which they might, I think they will feel the Scherzer contract was a good one
The plan is for everyone to play a little less so no one gets hosed. Now, performance could move the scale. But that hasn't happened yet. Cardinals are at their best defensively when Wong plays second.
You seem to have captured the theme at the moment. A cautious optimism at the moment.
Ok, gonna run. Thanks everyone! Talk next time.
