I see a split, for better or worse. Now, of the four matchups, really the only one I'm optimistic about is, to be honest, Weaver-Moore. But I think STL will get the win tonight with Waino setting the tone on the series. I also think they'll start Alex Reyes on Sunday -- I know, I'm really going out on a limb there -- but I also wonder if, of all people, Michael Wacha will be an important person in that start, if Reyes only goes, say, 5.
I'd rather go to Hades. No, just kidding, I've yet to visit the hometown of Ben Frederickson, but hopefully our paper's BenFred will take me there for the State Fair, where he got in his first fist fight and his first kiss the same night, and where they put ribbons on hogs and mustard on dogs.
Still waiting to hear if Oh will be available -- Matheny will likely talk to the media around 6 pm central. So be sure to follow Derrick on twitter.com -- @dgoold
Oh wait, Dirty Work is only a 17 on Rotten Tomatoes (!?) ... I was off.
Exactly, and for 12 mil, it's not the heftiest contract either. Bring him back, if only as an asset.
If Reyes super-struggled in his start Sunday, maybe the Cards indeed do that, the next time that spot in the rotation is up.
