I agree. Call the obvious ones, but otherwise let 'em play.
Yeah, saw a reference made to the article, but haven't had time to read it.
Chara is a large man. For sure.
I don't know about best fourth line in history, But the trio has been a huge key for the Blues. Still at least two games to go before we can even attempt to make any claims about the Bergeron line not being what it was cracked up to be.
Funny you should mention that. The question has been brought up (half-jokingly) in the press box on more than one occasion recently.
Rask. Maybe so. O'Reilly was very quick on that play however.
Speaking of inconsistently applied penalties, how about slashing? I know it's a fast-moving game, but. . . . .
Dunn said he felt uncomfortable wearing the full cage, said it made it a little harder to see. Chara was wearing a full cage on the bench, but never returned to the game after his injury. Maybe it is the comfort and peripheral vision issue that is keeping the league from making the full cage mandatory. Not sure.
The Blues have 13 power plays total during the playoffs. (But they've also given up 4 shorthanded goals.) They were actually doing fairly well on the power play until this series _ they're 1 for 13 so far against Boston.
Wise move. Hope you're enjoying the playoffs.
As Dunn mentioned, it may be a comfort and vision issue.
You're as close as you've ever been to another first.
The Blues consistently said today that it wouldn't change what they do. That they'll just play their game. We'll see.
Answered this early on in the chat. He did not practice Weds., so he's almost certainly not going to play. And at this point it seems likely the wrist injury will keep him out of the rest of the Cup Final.
Looking doubtful to return for series. Didn't skate today.
Based on line rushes Weds., Bortuzzo's in and Edmundon's out in Game 5.
I think I answered this exact same question earlier, but I don't see Dunn's role expanding too much given the nature of his injury. Berube said he actually played Dunn more than anticipated in Game 4 because he was playing so well. Having an extra day between games for Games 5, 6, and 7 should help keep the team fresh, even those guys who are logging heavy minutes.
I don't think you have to worry about that.
