I don't think there's any guarantee that Allen will be traded. And I'm honestly not sure what he'd fetch if traded..Is he going somewhere to be the starter? The backup? Or a 1A (backup who gets a lot of starts)?
I was actually on a plane during the Rams parade. (I can't remember if I was heading back from the Super Bowl in Atlanta or heading to Hawaii for the Pro Bowl at the time.) But the Rams' parade drew a crowd of maybe a couple hundred thousand. I think at least part of it took place after sunset, and it was February so it was cold.
By checking in, you just hit the LIKE button.
Pretty much so. Not just by the size of the crowd, but by the way the players interacted with the fans. Never seen anything like that in a championship parade. Have any of you?
I think when Bouwmeester and Bortuzzo signed new contracts during the season that pretty much sealed the deal for Gunnarsson. Also, the Blues want to give some of their younger defensemen a chance to make the team, particularly Reinke and Mikkola
I thought it was very funny. And from what I know of Robinson _ and it's not like I know him well _ I guess it was out of character (although he does have a humorous side.)
To be honest, I've had so much on my plate here in Vegas, particularly with the Blues sale news and now the chat, that I've only glanced at his grades. I'm sure there would be some differences though.
Great question. And I would say probably not.
That's one of the reasons why the entire band as Armstrong said yesterday won't be coming back. They're not going to just hand out roster spots, but I think they would like for players such as Kyrou and Mikkola to make the roster. They'll get plenty of opportunities in camp for evaluation since they're playing 8 preseason games this year. They played six last year.
Hearing nothing at the moment.
Again, although you never say never with Armstrong, I don't think this will be an offseason where the Blues bring in much if anything in the way of outside help.
I honestly couldn't tell you. Have you seen or heard that this is the case with Berube?
Nothing planned. Just FYI, I reached out the Red Berenson before the Cup Final, but he was on a float trip and out of contact.
We're only talking about two teams (Vegas,Seattle). And Seattle gives the league an even number of teams which helps in scheduling and divisional alignment. Vegas has been a smashing success so far. The owners like divvying up that expansion fee.
Well, I think Enterprise can hire anyone they want to sell rental cars in their commercials.
I'm a 2-Ben fan myself. I wish they'd get back in that care and for for rides and talk.
According to Binnington, they all pretty much cleared out on Sunday and Monday except for Binnington and O'Reilly (who of course or up for awards tonight.) I'll look around tonight and see if I can spot any at the awards ceremony.
Even if Binnington has staying power, and even if Allen stays put this season, the Blues will eventually need a backup. It could still be Husso. This will be a big job for him.
I believe you have to either play in at least one Stanley Cup final game or play in a certain amount of games during the regular season. And thanks. . . .
Pietrangelo won't come cheap and I believe the Blues plan to re-sign him.
