I think the fans deserved a chance to voice their opinions. I don't agree with their choice. That's OK.
Still searching for the genius. Kidding! It's fun. Thanks for making them such a special part of the STLToday coverage.
Matheny sticks up for his guys, to the point that sometimes it leads to answers that make you scratch your head. Oftentimes the players acknowledge mistakes and speak about them in ways Matheny doesn't. That's just his style. I don't see it changing. I realize it comes across as frustrating at times. He is the eternal optimist. He's not afraid to have hard discussions with his players, though. I need to make that clear.
A fascinating notion. One that requires enough qualified starters to push him from the rotation.
He's never not going to tinker. And if he can physically throw, he's going to work to find a way to help his team. I think he's willing to adapt, as we've seen this season. Maybe he finishes out of the bullpen by the time it's all said and done. That said, I'm giving Wainwright a shot after he gets back from the DL. The guy still leads this team in wins. By two.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Good on Matt. Hope some of his teammates match him.
I don't think this team is going to make the postseason, no.
Because I think there were non-steroid users who deserved to get in first. Because I wondered if the current players -- guys who would be labeled as CHEATERS!!! if they got caught using steroids -- sensed any hypocrisy during the celebration.
How much money are you donating to the charity efforts? Go ahead and send in a picture of your receipt. I'll approve it so everyone can see.
We will have the Big Mac debate forever. I'm OK with the fans having the say on the Cardinals HOF. They made their opinion known.
Bryce Harper, if his knee is OK.
OK, I'm sorry. But let's do something positive. If I donate $50 to Red Cross after this chat, will anyone match me?
Not in center. Hitting in the upper half of the lineup and playing a corner spot.
