Well stated. Very well stated.
Agree to disagree. You are citing numbers, some of which came after the bailing.
I am profoundly ambivalent, honestly. Sorry. I'm excited to try and write a story that people will read tomorrow about an issue that is important to the success of the Cardinals in the coming year, and I am up for the challenge of trying to do that again tomorrow with a 5-hour round trip drive. I get excited about the work and the stories to tell.
Yes. Yes, I do. I do find that bizarre indeed.
We are in the process of gathering a petition.
Possibly. Depends on how the guys flanking him produce.
It does not. It indicates Scherzer wanting to get some at-bats in, I bet. The Cardinals have set their date as March 15. Washington had the choice. Scherzer probably had the choice, though I didn't ask. I'm stating from past experience. Flaherty said he lobbied to hit, but he didn't give it much effort today and said he maybe could have tried harder to "beg and plead."
Not likely. That would be a sign of things going really right for him and really really really wrong for the Cardinals.
Jack Flaherty is on the brink of excellence.
Now, seriously, I have to get to writing or I'll mess up my drive to Orlando.
