Always been bullish on the bat, as longtime chatters know. And the shortstop stop play is intriguing.
Sure. Any. Yes. Entirely possible.
Getting married. Cloud 9.
Thanks. I am in the process of putting together one with Flaherty. It's going to take a touch more editing than usual just because of the nature of access this year, but hopefully hopefully I can pull it off.
Nah. I haven't gotten that sense. They knew it was necessary at the time.
Why be so specific with the position. Granted, those are the positions that usually bring the bat that they need, but they need that bat regardless of position. They can find a way to work around that. They have some versatility. No one is arguing that they don't need that bat -- and this past few months has revealed that they don't have that bat in the clubhouse and they don't have that bat coming. They need to move from their strength (what they develop well) to fill in the kind of player they haven't had access/been able to draft.
That's part of it, I guess. Could trade either, really. That's how it works.
Both. Either. They're both productive and welcome hitters.
They see him as a value play, yes. Especially with another year of control and closer upside.
Koo would be the translator to be named later. It would of course be up to the new team, but Oh would have a large say in that move as Koo is part of his contract.
The Cardinals are going to try and find out in the coming week. Still, another bat would help.
They can. They are working with him. They see the same game you do, as the manager recently said.
A lot of that is just positioning. We'll see after the break where the teams really stand.
Few teams can. It's one of the reasons why it's so complex. And, more precisely, few teams (no teams?) want to afford it.
One second. Good phone news.
Eventually that conversation will happen.
Off the top of my head? Mariano Rivera warming up alone.
When the rest of the division decides. The Cardinals (and lagging Cubs for that matter) are in the race because no other team has run away. If .500 wins the division could be awhile.
