All the names you mention are interesting. The Rays want young pitching. Usually you don't trade pitching for pitching.
Hosmer hit much better for average than Carpenter this year and is a much better defensive player. The power is about even. Carpenter will cost much less. But Hosmer is trading upward and much younger (28 to almost 32).
Martinez should be one of the top 10 to 15 starters in baseball but he hurt himself too much this year with his own poor defensive play. If that improves, so will his record.
Gonzalez would be a good fall-back if Stanton falls through. But which one are you getting? The Gonzalez who had a huge second half or the one in the first half who did nothing. He is a lefthanded hitter, which the Cardinals could use.
The GMs and agents have just started talking to each other face to face. More action will be transacted at the winter meetings, as almost always. Seeds are sewn here.
The heat will be on for everybody but Mo just got a new deal. Matheny would not be back if the playoffs were missed again.

Altuve will win _ by a lot. He was the best player on one of the best teams.
Not if they keep allowing six goals a night.
He's still driving in 100 runs. Heyward's contract is bad and he's driving in half that many.
It hasn't happened much since, with or without tools. The tools don't necessarily show how sore a pitcher's arm is and Broglio's arm was pretty sore.
Jon Jay was an integral part of several playoff runs but he is not a Gold Glover. A good guy to have as a fourth or fifth outfielder.
