I think 12 pitchers is plenty. Thirteen often too many. I wouldn't to go any higher than that, even for one day.
A question better answered when the season is over. So far, though, Goldschmidt's debut hasn't been a good one.
I would be surprised if Reyes is being hyped as anything unless he delivers in a big way here in the final two months. Wacha won't be here. Wainwright? Too early to tell. Martinez, I think, can still start. Do they need one more? Yes.

I don't think too many pitchers got too close to Big Klu, who actually was said to be a gentle fellow.
Don't know for sure about. For me, it's a question better answered after the season. They need the best defense they can get now, given their other obvious shortcomings.
