He's been a bright spot. He doesn't care about scoring and embraces doing the dirty work, but he's also got the skill to be a scorer and playmaker. He's been very good over the last month or so.

I've seen this brought up a few times. I didn't hear the exact comments from Dykes. I haven't noticed it necessarily on a consistent basis, but if a TV announcer has noticed than Missouri's coaches have surely noticed. They work very closely with Tilmon on his shooting, Chris Hollender especially.
I haven't heard what happened with the prequel. I'm OK with it. I'm not even sure I'll read the next book. The ending was fine. I was more than ready for it to be over.

I'd be interested to see him get more minutes and maybe even start. You know what you're getting with him. He doesn't have a high ceiling. He's not scoring 36 points like we saw with Pinson against TCU. But he's one guy who plays the game like a coach and has earned respect of his teammates up and down the roster.

South Carolina is missing some key players, too. They're a mess offensively and don't have great size. They try to speed you up and play in transition and aren't as interested in beating you up inside.
