Mizzou has been told it will be televised. Parts of Mizzou's NFL pro day on March 22 will be televised, too. At least that's what MU has been told.
I'm not sure that's always the case. I can recall a lot of contact in the paint that led to a lot of Mizzou fouls in the past. Martin's defense rarely produces a lot of blocked shots. It's a philosophical choice on help defense. Some teams scheme their defenses to get that help-side defense at the rim and others don't.
Haith was suspended for five games while coaching at Mizzou for his role in the Miami NCAA case. MU was later penalized for NCAA violations that occurred on Haith's watch, but he had already left for Tulsa when the sanctions were imposed.
Bruce, 100 times out of 100, no question.
Oh, I thought the chat was going pretty well so far.
That would require someone else to have a postponement this weekend, and as of now, there are six other games scheduled to be played without any issues.
I have not had that conversation, no.
They seem to throw those passes to Parker Braun a lot. They rarely seem to work.
Good question. I'm not sure. I haven't been on any of the softball Zooms this year.
I wouldn't say they're prohibited from eating certain things, but they try to guide them into eating healthy food
All athletes in the fall and winter sports were granted another year of eligibility.
It will be based on winning percentage, so UK gets higher seed in Nashville. But MU will play two more games and can't finish 8-7.
No, but he doesn't finish at Rice until this spring didn't plan to be at Mizzou until the summer.
We saw flashes of his ability last year and I think he can be an all-conference quarterback who throws 30 touchdowns a year. He's got the accuracy, the toughness, the decision-making, the poise. He's not a dynamic athlete, but that's OK. He probably doesn't have Blaine Gabbert's arm strength. But that's OK. There's no reason he can't be great - as long as more playmakers around him develop.
I've heard conflicting things from folks in the room. All I know is he was not on the initial list that Sterk had some board members vet when he was ready to narrow the choice down to finalists. After they told him to reset the search, Drinkwitz's name entered the mix.
I don't see that happening, but I'll try my best!
Trevon Brazile is billed as a great athlete on the wing. From the clips I've seen he looks like a pretty versatile player who has a lot of athletic upside. Anton Brookshire is a combo guard who will probably have to be an immediate impact player barring some transfers for the backcourt. Sean Durogordon will have a chance to play the three in the Mark Smith/Pickett/Watson role.
OK, folks. Thanks for joining me today. We'll do this again next week.
