Robinson worked with the team a couple of years ago, and did a lot of work with Parayko. He is no longer affiliated with the team that way. I don't think he particularly likes traveling these days.
It was a lot of fun. It was good to see and mingle with reporters from around the league. Something that is very rare in the COVD age. Even had a couple cocktails with teammate Ben Hockhman after the game, which was great. With the league running the event, the interviews were in-person - podium-style - which was even greater.. Made the walk a couple of times from the hotel to the rink or back - about 3/4s of a mile, which was, uh, interesting. And I was fascinated by all the stuff going on besides the hockey game on Saturday night - the lumberjjacks, ice fishing, fake deer, youth games on smaller rinks, etc.
We;ll know in a few hours, but I don't think we're going to see 6 goals tonight. The Penguins are very good defensively and are tops in the league on the PK. As for Vladi, he never has taken to the one-timer.
As is always the way with Berube, Brown has earned his time. As for the "Russian guy," I have visions of a fourth line next year of Kostin-Joshua-Toropchenko. What do you think?
I have the utmost respect for Schenn. But I'm not going to categorically dismiss what you're saying.
No, he came up there to do an interview with our Ben Hochman. And as far as I know, then went back to the stands.
With this, I'm tempted to wrap it up. But we've had so many questions today, many of which remain unanswered, I'll try to get to a few more.
When I was at Canton for the Isaac Bruce induction over the summer, I got a wide range of replies from HOF voters on Holt.. From, it's his tiime. He needs to go in next year. To, the Rams already have enough players in the Hall for a team that won only one Super Bowl. So I don't tknow what to expect. But he certainly is deserving in my mind, and at first glance it isn't a stellar group of finalists this year.
It certainly looks that way when healthy. Trouble is, we just haven't seen this lineup healthy throughout the season. The Pittsburgh game, in fact, marks the first time this season they will have their entire roster of forwards available. (I know some are saying it happened just before Thanksgiving against Detroit - but that's not the case because that's when Neal tweaked an upper-body nagging thing in the morning skate and did not play that night.)
Parayko is No. 1. Not sure about No.s 2 or 3. But Perron would rate up there. Tarasenko still. Faulk and Walman get it up there pretty quick.
There's no such thing as a question not being permitted. Just waiting for the right time and for more season to be played.
I don't think so. So you liked them? I'm not a big uniform guy, but I liked them.
The only thing that comes to mind off the top of my head is Gump Worsley. Am I dating myself?
There's lots to choose from, but I'm going with Help Me Rhonda. As for the power play, having Perron and Tarasenko on your flanks it pretty hard to beat.
Nothing yet. But so far the Blues have just three postponed games to make up. So it shouldn't be tough to squeeze them into February.
Heard different things on the beachwear idea - from OReilly to Buchnevich to Tarasenko. Don't know about the beachwear licensing, but I think Binnington could get some money - for chariity - by signing and selling some of those lumberjack shirts. And yes, was iside in the baseball pressoox. A little chilly but overall pretty comfy. Coffee, snacks. Not bad at all.
Would be nice to see a power forward type mixed in there. In theory, someone like Kostni, Brown.
Neither you nor Roy are in the penalty box.
Still too early to tell, but so far things are trending well.
From what I can tell, bonuses aren't too common in the NHL. And I don't think Schenn or Faulk have any PP clauses in their contracts.
Interesting question. Not sure.
The Blues actually have been carrying eight defensemen for a while, and I think it could be at least in part because of what you are saying - that Walman could get claimed. I think they might try to keep 8 D for a while. They have one extra forward at the moment, but 3 forwards on the taxi squad.
II got to all but a few questions. But have to go. Sorry if I didn't get to yours, but please try again next week or try Gordo' chat. Thanks for playing. . . .see you next timie.
