Good queiston. I don't have a hard and fast answer for you. But he is skating more and carrying the puck up the ice. And I think he's backing in less He is on a roll.
I'm sure they'll think about it. But the cost would be very high - both financially and in terms of what you might have to give up. And I don't think forward is as big of an issue with Buchnevich and Saad on the scene and the trade request by Tarasenko apparently back burner.
Yes, he does seem to take a few, doesn't he? I don't know of a web site with such info; perhaps someone on the chat can help us out. Overall, Perron iis tied for second on the team in penalty minutes (wtih Torey Krug) with 46 minutes. Mikkola is the team leader at 55.
All I can say is that he tends to float at times, and definitely was floating on that second Boston goal.
It is a funny way to keep track of the standings. But I don't think the league will change.
They're certainly getting hot at the right time. But 2019? I don't know.
Neal has 24 points (13 goals, 11 assists) in 21 games for Springfield. There was a stretch in mid-March when Kyrou, Buchnevich and Tarasenko were out for a couple of games. Not necessarily all three at the same time, but two of the three. I think if the Blues were going to call up Neal, they would've done it then.
I think they've got two of the three figured out in Walker and Toropchenko. They've tried just about everything else. Perhaps Dakota Joshua gets another look. Maybe James Neal. But I think they're pretty much set on the fourth line - for better or for worse.
That's one way of looking at it.
I'm not a fan of the drop pass either. And I know Berube isn't.
I'm not a big uniform guy, but I really liked the road unis for this year's Winter Classic. I'm not aware of the Blues considering a change.
There are currently 4 teams that have $9 million or more invested in goaleis. So it wouldnt be unprecedented. But are we sure you can sign Husso for only $3 million a year, especially if he goes on any kind of a playoff run?
Perunovich is recovering/rehabbing from wrist surgery. He's almost certainly done for the season. Not sure which way the wind's blowing on Kostin. He's an RFA afer this season - wiithout arbitration rights. He's going to have a hard time making the "varsiity" next season, especially with Neighbours expected to be on the scene. This year may have been his best chance. Toropchenko has yet to display the scoring touch to rise to a Barbashev level. Even pre-2021-22 Barbashev.
Army is always willing to listen, but I don't think he's interested in trading Tarasenko. I've been wrong about this pretty consistently, so we'll see what happens.
And they do it again this coming Tuesday at Enterprise, at which time the Bruins figure to have at least some of their missing players back.
The true test of when I'm getting a little road weary is when I wake up and for those first 30 seconds or so I ask myself: What city am I in? That's happened only once or twice this year. During the pandemic its been tough to consistently eat healthy because a lot of the hotels still don't have room service or even have their restaurants open. I do like to work out when I can, but it's almost impossible to do in-season on the road due to the condensed daily schedule.
Oh my goodness, he was kidding. I think that was obvious by the smile on his face. You could tell Schenn was in a good mood as soon as he walked in the interveiw room and (jokingly) told Faulk to get out of there. As an intereviewer, I'm all about trying to get the player or coach to relax. You get better answers that way. And you build up trust over time. I'd rather get human interest nuggets than Xs and Os. So I consider it a success when you get an answer like Schenn's,
Don't know about that. But Husso has earned what he's getting. He has helped keep this season on course, and I think Berube si very cognizant of that fact.
