I don't know if I'd go that far, but the Stone hit on Tyler Bozak last sesason certainly was a hit that didn't have to be made. And during his time with Vegas, I certainly saw a few such hits by Reaves. Maybe I'm wrong, but I do hink the Knights will miss Reaves' enforcer qualities over the long haul.
Seattle is a great town. I made many trips up there on the football beat when the Rams played the Seahawks. The weather can be raw in the winter, however. I was there for a lot of football games where it was rainy and in the low 40s - my least favorite kind of weather. But it's a vibrant city. Lot's of energy. And not hard to find a good cup of coffee.
Prospects tournament in Traverse City is Sept. 16-20, preseason opener is Sept. 25, start of training camp should be in between - around Sept. 22-23.
I still have a hard time believing that's the case. But it's possible.
Hard to say what happens with the "A." But I would think he'd certainly have some explaining to do to his teammates and the trainers and medical staff. I would definitely put him on the third line. To me, he'd have to earn his way on the top 6.
No. Not really. Don't know what else to say. Although again, I was a little suprised the Kyrou deal was that high.
Don't expect any.. Agree with you on the defense. But after a very slow start, the power play ended up being one of the league's best. (Of course, they'll be without Hoffman this time around.)
What are you willing to give up?
From what I hear,, Parayko's back is doing fine. He's training. Skating. No offseason surgery. As for LW besides Saad, we could see Schenn there, Sanford there, even Kostin there.
For openers, I would also have Thomas centering the third line. Or meybe have him on right wing with Sundqvist centering. You could put Barbashev on the third. Or maybe Kostin or Sanford.
Yes. Leaving tomorrow. And certainly looking forward to it.
I would think he'd have to get suspended.
I think he would get suspended, and the team would be off the hook for his cap count for as long as he was gone. Pretty sure that's what happened with Patrik Berglund and Buffalo a few years back.
So, I'm guessing you're not a fan of them?
Oh, he would be in camp. And I think it could be a toxic situation.
I don't think a 30-35 goal scorer is needed. Another 15-20 goal scorer would be nice though.
I think the St. Louis wins big - a rout - in the opening round but the NFL generally does better in the appeals courts, which are generally more conservative.
He certainly ended the year on a strong note with the shutout against Minnesota. I think he'll be more used to everything, including the process of having to stay sharp between starts. But it's not like hes got a lock on the position at this point. That's for sure. The prospects - Hofer and Ellis - probably are more than a year away from being ready, though. So if Husso stumbles, that could be an issue short-term.
He should show up in the best shape of his life, stay healthy and score a goal every now and then. That's the best way to increase his trade value.
