Most of that LTIR space is Max Pacioretty, who was supposed to be out six months from when he was hurt in August.
Barbashev doesn't have a no-trade clause, so he's probably at the top of that list. O'Reilly doesn't either, but the Blues would probably want to have him involved in any deal they made if it ever came to that.
I don't think there is any player on the team you can say is playing well right now. We talked about this on the podcast. Everyone is doing something wrong or not well enough. If you were to say who's doing best, it could be Saad or Buchnevich, but their lack of ice time may be helping that.
Certainly there are a lot of passes that are not putting players in prime position to make things happen and spoiling chances. They pass the puck in practice every day. One of many areas they have to get better at.
I do not have any news on Tanner Dickinson.
Sorry, was writing a soccer story through much of the game.
Things can happen fast in this league. It wasn't that long ago people were complaining about how the analytics projections had vastly under-rated this Blues team.
The Blues' goal is to make that period as short as possible. If it's a few years, that will be very disappointing to management. They think there is a good foundation to build around and not miss too much time.
Not sure who's in the chatter's chair next week. Someone will be here. Until then, try to find something good. It's a nice day outside. Maybe go for a walk.
