Not a fan, but Twitter isn't something I spend much time thinking about.
I think that's a solid read on possible scenarios.
The opener has officially moved to Thursday night. See the story below.
Was Missouri really going to sell more tickets just on adding JT Daniels? I'd be surprised if that was the case. Do college football fans make the commitment to buy season tickets based on one player alone? If so, wouldn't they already have bought season tickets to see Burden? I'm just not convinced adding JT Daniels would have made anything more than a marginal difference on attendance. And here's the reality with Burden or any highly rated and coveted recruits Missouri signs: If he has a monster freshman season there are going to be other schools that come after him ... and if the passing game struggles and a five-star receiver doesn't produce good numbers, he might be open to other schools with better offenses. I'm not saying it's destined to be a Catch 22 with a player like Burden, but if you're Drinkwitz you have to recruit and coach to win games. Bottom line. If you win, the rest takes care of itself on way or another.
Sanctions haven't been announced yet. They will be, this century or the next.
OK, folks. That's it for today. We'll do this again next week. Happy Easter for those who observe. Happy weekend for everyone either way.
