I have a lot of respect for how Dennis Gates doesn't ride the refs, as so many coaches do (I can tell you, from 10-feet-away experience, Mike Krzyzewski was among the most brutal). That said, who would you say are the 1) Biggest whiners among SEC basketball and football coaches and B) Who is the most effective? I'd put Mark Stoops as the biggest whiner - he screams at refs about Mizzou snapping the ball. Hard to watch, some times. -

There's a story out right now from another publication that just casually drops the phrase "Mosley’s self-imposed exile". I know you can't speak for other publications and I know you can't say anything told to you off the record, but has it been confirmed and reported that it's been Mosley's decision not to play? That would be news to me.

Great win for the tigers last night. Mr Moseley’s talent is clear. Looks like Sean east can play.
Arkansas is a darned good, balanced team. I’m a little shocked at their record.
The arena was rocking here and there but could use more sustained intensity.

Mosley can do some things on the offensive end that others can't in terms of creating his own shot, although Gholston has that skill, too - just isn't as smooth handling the ball.I'm a little cautious in proclaiming Diarra the next Doug Smith. He's got some shooting range, but I'm not sure you want the ball in his hands unless he's grabbing a rebound or going up for a shot. He dribbles so hard it's like he's trying to break the wood on the floor. If he can provide a productive 15-20 minutes off the bench, doesn't get exposed on defense and can stop fouling so much, then that's a nice addition to the rotation.

Koetting has been an elite college kickoff specialist. One of the very best in the country the last three years. Mevis can handle those duties, but Koetting was simply better. Maybe Mevis takes on that role this year. He's got the range to kick field goals in the NFL, but he'll have to clean up those short attempts he missed this year.

Overall, on paper, they've made net gains via the portal. The only proven impact SEC player they lost was Dominic Lovett. Nobody else who transferred was a major contributor. Maybe you can make the case that Tauskie Dove was a major contributor, but he only caught 16 passes - and just one TD over the last two years.This year's portal batch includes three likely starters in WR Theo Wease Jr. (Oklahoma), OT/OG Marcellus Johnson (Eastern Michigan) and DE Joe Moore III (Arizona State) and a possible starting punter in Towson's Riley Williams.

No Noah=too many minutes for gomillion. He was switched into too many mismatches with the bigs. Love the guy- glad he stepped up. A few less minutes suits him and the team. Kobe subbed in for him 3-4 times last night - the dude put on his work boots and did the job. Thought gates handled the lineup situation well. Just needs more Aiden Shaw.
