Yeah, but it wasn't all on him. He did have 13 tackles and blocked the field goal to give the offense one last shot. I give Alldredge credit. He's first in line in criticizing his own play. The guy literally apologized to fans for his play through two weeks - a week after getting 3.5 sacks.
I'll post my prediction online Friday - as I do every week. Never sooner.
I don't know how he's coming to that decision. He doesn't do many interviews, especially about recruiting. He'll play immediately wherever he goes. I suspect NIL opportunities will be a factor. And his name resonates in the Missouri market a lot stronger than it would in Athens, Tuscaloosa or Norman.
Well, the way the game unfolded it could have been huge to have the ball first in the second half. Mizzou had a late TD in the second quarter to make it a one-score game - and then got the ball first in the third quarter with a chance to tie the game and steal all the momentum.
Mizzou is also winless against Mike Stoops as a head coach.
Mizzou was scheduled to play in KC last year against Arkansas, but that game moved to Arkansas for COVID protocol reasons. I imagine they'll reschedule a game there at some point. MU owes Kansas City a game per an agreement made after the BYU game n 2015 didn't draw much of a crowd. There's a new regime in power now with Reed-Francois, so that's a good question for her - and probably not on the top of her priority list this early in her time at MU. For now, Mizzou needs to build up the fan experience at home games - and not give away those games to other markets.
Right. That was the best moment of his career - and still the last time Mizzou won a road game as an underdog.
Maybe. But if Boston College moves up and down the field with a backup quarterback, the red flags will be flapping in the wind with Tennessee coming to town the next week. The Vols might not be very good this year, but they'll move the chains and score some points.
Don't forget. He missed almost all of camp with a foot injury. He ran some good downfield routes at Kentucky. Had a nice catch down the seam for a first down. His role and production will continue to expand.
Not that I know of. How exactly?
I'll go with three: Manuel, Alldredge, Abrams-Draine. Mark it down.
It's hard to really diagnose what went wrong on every play without knowing what the player's assignment was, but there's going to be some growing pains with those guys who are new to their positions, like Abrams-Draine and Robinson.
OK, friends. That's all for today. Next week, we're moving the chat to Wednesday, same time, though, at 11 a.m. I'm leaving a day early for Boston so we'll bump the chat up a day, too.
