Yes, defense appears is in need of an upgrade for a playoff push. As far as predicting how things will play out with Tarasenko, who knows. I thought it was inevitable the Blues needed to trade him before the season started. He's scoring a point per game and fans are throwing roses at his feet. I still don't know why he would want to leave. Maybe he changes his mind? He's hard to predict.
Future is bright. This season was a breakthrough for Coach Kalish and it is not looking like a one-and-done kind of thing. SLU views basketball and soccer as its biggest strengths and will continue to pour resources into those sports. A new sports complex coming on campus. Kalish is recruiting well and will benefit from this season's deep run in terms of building on that success. Seems like a really bright time for the program. Appealing, for your friend's son.
I'll let him know you appreciated it. Thanks.
Featured, I don't know. Let's see how he makes the jump. That said there is opportunity in the backfield that was left unseized by backs not named Tyler Badie this past season. His D-II numbers were really impressive. Fun one to root for, and you know he will show up hungry.
If they pitch well, sure.
It would not surprise me if Dylan Carlson gets there and stays there for a while.
He's out of minor-league options, yes.
That would be an interesting twist. Cards have suggested publicly that Ivan Herrera is the next long-term backstop of the future.
Gotta jet, folks. Thanks for your time. Same time and place next week. Cheers.
