Barnett has the athleticism and the shooting range but not sure he's got the handles to play on the perimeter in the NBA. Might get invited to a camp and play in the summer leagues. Puryear is a 6-9 player trapped in a 6-6 body. Way too much of a tweener to make it in the NBA.
I can't disagree. I don't think it was a coincidence that the SEC fine came out the same day the lawsuit was filed. Like I said earlier, Sankey gave the impression earlier that he thought the situation was over. Clearly it wasn't. I'm still baffled that Staley wasn't criticized more for the way she conducted herself after the game in Columbia, Mo. She literally accused the SEC of rigging the game based on the officials who were assigned the game.
I've requested interviews with Porter Sr a couple times this year and haven't been allowed to talk to him, so I wouldn't want to speculate.
Good question. I don't expect Sterk to settle. It would be unpopular for a South Carolina judge to throw out the case considering how popular Staley is in the state, but there's a reason it's rare for public figures to file defamation lawsuits. They're very difficult to prove.
The specs look fine to me, but I'm not paying for it and won't get any benefit out of it, so I don't really have any stake in how it looks.
Florida. The Gators were much more competitive against Missouri this year. The Tigers rolled Ole Miss from the opening tip.
I don't have the other coaches' salaries within reach right now, but I think MU can afford to give her a nice raise. Or should. She's worth it. However, I will be interested to see how she does once Cunningham is gone from the program. Will the caliber of talent fall off some? Can she recruit enough impact players to keep this program near the top of the SEC?
There has been some speculation it could happen but nothing substantive that I know of. Would he really want to sit out a year? Pretty good player to take a whole season off.
Auburn, Tenn, Florida, UK, Arkansas are locks. Mizzou probably in safely. A&M probably, too. Mississippi State and Bama could use some help, but I think both are good enough on their best day to win multiple games in the bracket.
He transferred to NC State shortly after leaving Mizzou.
He hasn't played in three months and undergone back surgery. There's a big difference between being able to practice and being able to play effectively in a real game. And you can't discount the risks. Martin doesn't want to put him out there, slam into a back pick by a 240-pound forward, mess up his back further and then be known as the guy who damaged a lottery pick. It's a complicated situation.
OK, folks. Gotta run. Thanks for playing.
