Well, it depends on how the season goes. The SEC bowl order hasn't changed for this year. You've got the playoff bowls (Cotton, Orange) at the top of the pecking order, followed by the other New Year's Six bowls (Fiesta, Sugar, Rose, Peach). Once those slots are filled, the Citrus Bowl has first selection of eligible SEC teams.
After that, the SEC Pool of Six bowls are filled by the league office in conjunction with the schools and the bowls: Outback, Music City, Liberty, Texas, Belk and TaxSlayer.
If there are any eligible SEC teams left, the Birmingham Bowl picks next, followed by the Independence.
If Mizzou's bowl ban is overturned or the appeals committee doesn't make its ruling before bowl games are slotted, I'd have MU somewhere in that Pool of Six mix - with an outside shot at the Citrus. MU just played in the Liberty and played in the Texas Bowl two years ago. MU would prefer to play in one of the games in Florida (Outback, TaxSlayer) over the other options.
