Under discussion. There will be a 2-SportTown tomorrow, I know that.
I don't know about early GSOT, but they were good. Very entertaining. I saw many of those games in person. One year, my uncle Nick worked the concessions on game day, and he would sneak me into the bleachers. They had some successful teams, but never won big.
It's against the rules to go backdoor on salaries.
Was that when he made his remark about investing all that "jack" in the team.
Thank you so much, Waddles And since you mention it, several in the Blues organization _ including Mike Yeo _ have already reached out to me. Very classy.
Now that's funny. I think I need a new winter coat.
Well, all of them. Really. Obviously, you're not there on a vacation _ seeing the tourists sights, etc. _ but I can't wait. Even in January.
Whenever possible, and it probably won't be much, I'll keep an eye on those Rams scores.
I've always tried to be honest with the readers. But I don't think I'd characterize my approach as negative.
Wait a minute, I thought that distinction went to Eric Dickerson.
Going a little longer today. Last chat, after all. No tears. Those came on most Sundays in recent years at the Edward Jones Dome.
I hope only the first part of that comes true.
Only a couple of things, in terms of how I handled stories. But nothing I'd like to share. Maybe next football chat. (I kid.)
That's interesting. We were taught to square up and stick that facemask in the sternum. It's not like I had a long playing career, but I can remember only two concussions _ one where I actually began on my back on the field and next thing I knew I was sitting on a bench on the sideline, not knowing how much time had passed. It will take years, maybe even a couple, three decades before we know if the current safety rules are having any impact. And who knows what the game, or the participation levels, will look like at that time.
Jerry, I think Goff scored pretty highly on the Wonderlic. I wouldn't put too much stock in one goofy statement.
I used to skate at Steinberg. Always a good place to take a date. But I always had weak ankles. Had a few sprains playing football and basketball. So I don't know.. But thanks.
Still waiting for some scientific proof that you can take it with you. I do wonder if he ever thinks about his life's legacy. Particularly when it comes to those people he tossed off that ranch in Texas.
So maybe I should order one from a store in Edmonton?
You mean, like flag football? That really wouldn't be football, would it? I'm used to the uniform questions _ that's an issue that transcends sports. And as much as I'd like to, I really doubt it on the Super Bowl chat.
OK, a couple more here before we go.
As they should. It should be an embarrassment to the league. But the owners do, after all, have all those relocation dollars to count.
And bye-bye NFL chat. It feels strange saying goodbye. Thanks, as always, for playing. . . . .
