I hear you. I'm not an old timer, but I don't get the fascination with the walk-up songs. Perhaps that's the old Dodger fan in me who prefers an organist. I couldn't tell you any of the players' walk-up songs, and I'm actually quite proud of that fact.
Considering all the Wainwright has done for the Cardinals organization, I would have thought fans would be more patient with him. Patience, though, is in short supply everywhere these days.
I don't know if there's a rule, but they do consider the playing conditions and also the conditions for the fans.
I wouldn't say outstanding. You have to go at least eight innings for me to say you were outstanding, but he was decent and a gamer under difficult circumstances.
Your theory is ridiculous. Don't blame Mike Matheny for Wong's batting average.
Part of my job is explaining what's going on and trying to get the answers to the biggest questions they have. I cannot help people off the ledge, though.
I didn't notice a question here.
Once the offense starts clicking, they'll be quite impressive.
I absolutely love watching Wainwright compete.
As you know, that fact hasn't been ignored by the Post-Dispatch. Look at my dispatches from spring training 2017 and early last season and this offseason. We've told you the farm system was full of talented young arms.
That is a good question. It's impossible to answer, though.
It's called quality depth. The Blues didn't have nearly enough depth this year to overcome all the injuries and the roster shortcomings. Oh, and don't forget Jake Allen's annual swoon.
Thank you for joining this chat. I will stay on here a few more minutes if you have anymore questions, but I don't see any more questions in the queue.
I haven't heard of any backlash. I assumed everybody understood why he would be so excited.
The visiting teams don't have much of a say on postponements. Today's decision was made by the Cubs and MLB.
That is a very good question. I don't know, but I completely understand why he has earned more starts lately.
I don't have a favorite taco, per se. I'm not much of a drinker, actually. My dad brought me two Tequila bottles last April, and I've only made a bit of a dent in one of them. I didn't have the heart to turn down the other Tequila bottle my dad gave me at Christmas. So I'm stockpiling Tequila bottles, I guess. Nonetheless, I prefer Tequila over Mezcal. My parents were actually born in Jalisco, Mexico, the region that produces Tequila.
I've not discussed that with him.
I think Ozuna is not much of a concern for the Cardinals this year. He's producing consistently.
I don't know who that would be. I wouldn't overlook lefthander Austin Gomber, though.
I haven't checked since I've been on the live chat.
Have a wonderful day. See you next week.
